"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, the most famous grappler in the world, has impacted the wrestling industry like no other superstar in history. Whether leading the New World Order, running for president, battling opponents or playing a movie role, Hogan redefines pro wrestling with every move he makes into the new millenium.
Setting the pace in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) since his arrival in June '94, Hogan has faced a myriad of foes with seven world titles to his credit. Launching the mega popularity of the New World Order, Hogan has teamed with Dennis Rodman against the likes of Karl Malone and Jay Leno. Hogan's countless ring exploits could fill a year-long highlight reel. One of his most amazing career moments was his astonishing body slam of 7'4", 500 lbs. Andre the Giant before an indoor record crowd of 93,000 at the Pontiac Silverdome.
Few entertainers have affected this nation's culture like Hogan. His larger than life persona has gone way beyond the squared circle. Making his screen debut as Thunderlips in Rocky III, Hogan tossed Sylvester Stallone out of the ring, while tossing himself into many movie roles. His credits include Gremlins II, No Holds Barred, Suburban Commando, Mr. Nanny, Santa With Muscles, Three Ninja's -- Escape from Mega Mountain, McKenzie's Island and TNT original movies Assault on Devil's Island and Assault on Death Mountain with Carl Weathers and Shannon Tweed. Hulkster also starred in the action-adventure movie version and syndicated series Thunder In Paradise. Completing his entertainment ensemble are an animated series Hulk Hogan Rockin' Wrestlin' and a hit record Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band, which was top-10 on Billboard's children's chart.
Despite his busy schedule, Hulk always finds time to visit with ailing children through the Make-A-Wish and Starlight Foundations as the one of the most requested celebrities.
